Sharing is Good

Sharing is good but sharing everything on internet is not good at all.

Few things which you must avoid sharing on internet:
1. Personal information like your credit/debit card information to untrusted sites, CNIC details, home address, PTCL number, vehical details, bank details etc.
2. Usernames and passwords of your social media sites, bank account login, email passwords etc.
3. Your current location and future vacation plans should not be shared on public forums as it gives an open invite to house burglars.
4. Pictures or videos of people without their consent.
5. Pictures of credit/debit cards, CNIC card and images of other important documents like car ownership documents, house registry, cheques etc.
6. Inappropriate personal images which can become embarrassing in the future.
7. Complaints about others. Remember, things take on lives of their own when they end up on internet.
8. Extreme likes or dislikes specially related to religious, political, racial or personal believes which can hurt other people's feelings should be kept to yourself.
9. Self incriminating evidence must never be shared like people posting their pics of aerial firing, rash driving etc.
10. Last but not least, expensive new purchases should not be shared publically. Besides criminals, tax officials are hunting such information.

I am currently passing through the denial phase.
